Meet Your Coach
April Glassell
My Fitness Journey
Hi, I'm April, your Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach!
I'm so glad you're here!
My journey with health and fitness has grown over the past few years and has improved my life in many different ways! I have always enjoyed being active, but then I decided to dive deeper into the science behind fitness. I graduated high school a year early and decided to go straight to
The National Personal Training Institute, through The National Academy of Sports Medicine.
After graduating, I continued to learn and obtain more certifications that could expand my knowledge further.
I was very thankful and honored to have received Personal Trainer of the Year , 2 years in a row, with the highest annual average of in-person training sessions serviced for the company I work at.
I have worked with a diverse variety of clients over the past 5 and half years in my training career and I am here to help lead you to a healthier lifestyle & achieve your goals.
Hobbies & Interests
I'm someone who's always up for a challenge!
I grew up playing soccer and horseback riding, and have recently began competing in Spartan Races. For those who don't know, Spartan is an obstacle race organization and after completing my first race and placing first in an open heat, I decided to enter a competition and placed in the top 3!

When I'm not training myself or clients, I like to stay active in other ways too. Whether it's hiking with my dog, hitting the gym, trying a new class or going for a run, I always feel my best when I'm pushing myself physically.
Overall, I believe that staying active is key to a happy and healthy life, and I'm always looking for new ways to challenge myself and stay in shape.
My World-
What I CherishÂ
As you can see, I am also a huge animal lover!
I have a deep love for animals of all kinds, and I believe that every creature has its own unique beauty and value. From taking care of my own, to rescuing stray dogs or pet sitting... I find that spending time with animals and in nature help me feel more connected to the world around me.
One of my closest animal companions is my dog, who has been by my side for years. I think that pets can bring so much joy and happiness to our lives, and I feel so lucky to have such a loyal and loving companion. Overall, I believe that our relationship with animals is an essential part of our lives it is important to take an active role in helping animals, whether it's through volunteering at a local shelter, stopping to help a stray dog, supporting conservation efforts, donating to organizations (ASPCA, Best Friends Animal Society, WWF), it's one of the ways I like to give back and gives me a rewarding feeling knowing that I am making a positive impact on the lives of animals in need.
